In this guide, we will show you how to create, sell and manage paid online programming through the TeamBuildr platform. As you already know, our platform is a leader in online programming for strength & conditioning coaches. However, an integration with a payment processor has enabled the software to let coaches and trainers charge clients online for access to their programming in an automated way.
This mechanism allows you to write a training program on a calendar and default it so that a new signup (athlete, client, etc.) must start from Day 1 of the program. For instance, someone who is new to weightlifting would not jump into the middle of your ongoing Oly training program. If you have a "Intro to Oly" program, you can write it and "offset" anyone to start on Day 1 of that program if you assign to them.
Another alternative to "offset" calendars is just our regular calendar programming in which a coach will program training on an ongoing basis. When a signup comes through, they will just begin in the middle of the training program on the date they join.
Finally, TeamBuildr offers a solution where signups can start the following Monday for a clean start day or start as a cohort altogether on the same day (usually a Monday) if you are taking sign-ups/registrations in large batches. This option is available as a customer feature with our reseller service.
TeamBuildr is integrated with Stripe.com which is online payment processing company which takes an industry-standard credit card processing free of 2.5% + $.30 per transaction. Our integration with Stripe allows a coach to set an customer up with a paid plan that a coach creates in Stripe.com (Eg: Premium Monthly $25/mo.). The coach or customers can then enter the credit card details into the TeamBuildr account and Stripe.com will charge it on a recurring basis according to the paid plan's settings.
This integration will also automatically deassign a customer from program calendar upon a failed payment transaction.
